Dympna has very quickly become our go-to copywriter for the travel trade and hospitality department at the National Trust for Scotland. Our audiences include the wedding market, travel trade and the MICE sector and Dympna has provided us with inspiring and relevant copy for these markets, in turn helping us to bring to life the stories and experiences we want to share and inspire a love for Scotland. I’ve had the pleasure of working alongside Dympna for several years on the SITE Scotland Board (Society for Incentive Travel Excellence – Scottish chapter). At the start of 2021 we launched a monthly newsletter to keep our members connected and engaged during an exceptionally difficult time in our industry. Dympna did not hesitate in taking on this responsibility.  Her use of tone, industry knowledge and creative writing skills conveyed our message perfectly. Dympna is a great asset to the Chapter.

Working with Dympna was a great experience, I had not worked with a copywriter before so Dympna kept me right. She took our resources and ideas and made the same words far more effective and meaningful.  It’s like magic somehow.  Having worked with Dympna once I now really understand the importance of copywriting and hope to work with her again in the future.

In May 2022 the EICC took on guardianship of Convention Edinburgh – the city’s convention bureau service. We were keen to refresh the communication style for Convention Edinburgh and to set a distinct tone of voice. We asked Dympna to take on this branding exercise creating a new tone of voice guide helping us steer towards a refreshed style of communication.  We’re really pleased with the piece of work that Dympna produced for us.  It is very comprehensive, and extremely useful to anyone creating communications on behalf of Convention Edinburgh.  Along with the tone of voice guide she included writing tips and pointers for digital which are also really useful.

Errol Park is a magical exclusive-use property and we wanted to reflect that sentiment across our digital marketing channels, specifically our website. Dympna was tasked with writing our website copy, blogs and wedding brochure and we’re extremely pleased with her work. She’s captured the essence perfectly and we’re already seeing positive results, an increase in engagement and SEO, and a return for the business. The more involved you are with a “project”, sometimes the more muddled the words are used to describe it. So Dympna filtered, edited, distilled our unstructured story into what became a clear flow of elegant statements which accurately describes the beautiful retreat we have created. I needed a short (limited by word count) but very important piece of copy turned around at short notice. Dympna was very quick to understand my brief (which was niche and specific) and was able to turn around exactly what I needed and with time to spare.
